Professor Paul B. McGuinness is the Chair in Accounting and Finance at the ±¬ÁÏTV. Prior to his appointment in 2021, Paul served as a Tenured Professor in the Department of Finance at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), holding the position of Department Chairman for two separate terms. Before joining CUHK, Professor McGuinness was a faculty member at the University of Warwick. While on leave from CUHK, he has held positions as the National Bank Chair of Finance at Victoria University of Wellington, Head of Research at the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, and Visiting Professor at Macquarie University. Paul's research addresses issues in corporate finance, governance, Chinese equity markets, and international business. Paul is also an Emeritus Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
