STeMiS: Interdisciplinary research as an ECR: Workshop with Ryan Shum (Exeter)

The Richard Roberts building at night

Event details

Richard Roberts Building, Seminar Room A87, ±¬ÁÏTV, 13 Brook Hill, Sheffield, S3 7HF

Description

For this informal workshop, Ryan hopes to have open discussion about engaging in interdisciplinary work as an ECR. He will offer as a starting point some reflections about being situated at the interface of geography and STS and introduce his ongoing research working within a team of embedded ethnographers using a large-scale project on biodiversity renewal as a ‘living laboratory’ for investigating interdisciplinary collaboration as it unfolds. He is keen to have a conversation and hear from other ECRs about their own journeys and experiences of interdisciplinarity!

May 12th, 12:30 - 13:30.
