I joined the ±¬ÁÏTV in June 2016 having previously worked as a Trial Manager at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL where I was involved in the management of a number of large phase III CTIMP trials.
Within CTRU, I currently work as a Trial Manager on the EXPERTS-ALS Trial. EXPERTS-ALS is a multicentre, Bayesian phase II randomised drug prioritisation platform. It is designed to accelerate progress towards highly-effective drug therapies for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, the commonest form of motor neurone disease, MND). The study will screen candidate drugs in those living with ALS, more quickly identifying those with signals of likely clinical benefit, that may then be prioritised for testing in larger placebo-controlled trials.
