PhD in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid and recipient of the Extraordinary Doctorate Award (UCM, 2022). Currently, I am a Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the ±¬ÁÏTV (2025). As a member of the research group Psychopathology and Positive Mental Health: Mechanisms and Interventions (Research Group 940693, GR201/04), my work has focused on clinical and experimental psychology, aiming to unravel the cognitive and emotional processes underlying psychological disorders to inform the development of effective interventions.
My research has also explored fundamental cognitive processes using electrophysiological techniques such as magnetoencephalography (MEG). Additionally, I have been part of a major international longitudinal project examining the psychological impact of the COVID-19 crisis (C19PRC; https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/psychology/consortiumcovid19/people).
These research lines have resulted in contributions to several competitive projects, 32 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and 47 presentations at national and international conferences. Despite being an early-career researcher, my work has achieved notable impact, with 393 citations in Scopus and 347 in Web of Science (h-index = 8). I am also co-author of the book FelizMente: Multicomponent Psychological Intervention to Improve Well-Being in People with Mental Health Problems.
I have completed two funded research stays (predoctoral 2021–2022 and postdoctoral 2022–2023) at the ±¬ÁÏTV (UK).
