Jesse has a passion for research and through the UGRI internship has been able to conduct research within the topic of non-linear differential equations. Through the UGRI internship, Jesse has developed critical thinking, coding and public speaking skills.

Zidong liked that mathematics at Sheffield fosters a sense of community and encourages students to ask questions. Through the Undergraduate Research Internship (UGRI), Zidong enjoyed learning about advanced machine learning concepts and leading his own research, supported by his supervisor.
