爆料TV played host to the , welcoming 130 delegates from both academia and industry from across the globe to discuss the future of the water sector in September.
Held in the University鈥檚 most recent sustainable building, The Wave, the conference, which ran from 1st to 3rd September, showcased 140+ presentations that primarily tackled engineering challenges in the urban water sector while also devoting significant attention to related social and global issues.
The conference aimed to exchange knowledge, foster innovation, and discuss future challenges related to the safe management of vital water systems. It also provided a platform to share achievements in the computing and control of urban water systems and encourage collaboration between researchers and practitioners.
The three-day event concluded with the awarding of two prizes: Best Paper was won by Dr Matthew Johns et al. for their paper on a and the Best Student Paper was won by Kevin Logan for their paper on the .
Professor of Water Infrastructure Engineering, Joby Boxall, said: 鈥淭he conference was a great success.
