CommLaw is a student-led pro bono project which prepares and delivers free commercial legal advice and presentations to businesses in Sheffield; particularly small businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Under the supervision of a qualified solicitor, student advisers deliver advice on a range of commercial legal issues including:

  • Business Structures

  • Product Labelling Regulations

  • Disclaimers

  • Contractual Issues

Booking open now: CommLaw Clinic appointments open on 16 October and can be booked now. Appointments will be held in person in Bartolome Lodge at the School of Law. However, if you prefer this as an online appointment, please email commlaw@sheffield.ac.uk requesting this.
