What is the UCAT?

The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a computer-based admissions test used by universities to help select applicants for medical or dental schools.

Four timed subtests make up the UCAT: Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning and Situational Judgement.

Course details

Following on from the success of previous UCAT preparation courses, the ±¬ÁÏTV is now accepting applications to its 2026 programme.

Delivered by students who have taken and passed the UCAT, this six-session course will go through each section of the test in detail, giving students tips, tricks, advice for timings and more. Students will take a mock UCAT test, and will have the opportunity to speak to staff and students at the ±¬ÁÏTV about the exam and life as a medical or dental student.

  • Session 1 - Tuesday 30th June: Introduction to the UCAT Preparation Course - 4.30pm to 5.30pm
