Description

What’s happening with climate and nature, and how should our University respond to the crisis?

Join us at The Diamond on 15th April for a screening of the - an eye-opening new film where leading UK scientists explain what the climate and nature crisis means for our food, health, weather and the cost of living.

This film is a call to action to treat climate change as the emergency it is and that, as a country, our response should be proportionate to the scale of the risk to our security and wellbeing. It follows on from the delivered by scientists to decision makers in Westminster at the end of 2025.

Following the screening Professor Tony Ryan OBE, Co-Director of the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, will host a panel discussion and Q&A where we will be able to ask ourselves as staff and students whether as an institution and individuals we are doing all that we can.
