We research the clinical assessment of vision, including computerised tests of visual acuity. Our research also includes low vision and vision impairment. This includes the impact of vision impairment, and interventions and support for people with vision impairment.

Our multidisciplinary research research ‘Hello… I’m Here!’, in partnership with the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) has been showcased at the Festival of the Mind and was the winner of a Knowledge Exchange and Impact Award: Outstanding partnership or impact in health/welfare/wellbeing (ECR winner and overall winner)
